Future Dems PAC Announces First 2026 Endorsements, Backing First-Time Candidates and Next-Generation Democratic Leadership Nationwide
Early investments signal a commitment to rebuilding trust, elevating next-generation leadership, and strengthening durable Democratic power across key states to win in 2026 and beyond.
Washington, DC –Future Dems PAC today announced its first slate of endorsements for the 2026 cycle, backing ten first-time candidates and leaders under 40 running up and down the ballot in Texas, South Carolina, Maine, California, New York, Florida, and Michigan.
The announcement marks a strategic early investment in next-generation leadership at a moment when voters are questioning institutions and demanding clearer leadership. Through early support for candidates who can rebuild trust and expand the coalition, Future Dems PAC is helping position Democrats to meet a changing electorate with bold new voices capable of winning and governing.
Andrea Pringle, President of Future Dems PAC said of the endorsements, “Voters are tired of politics that feels disconnected from their daily lives and leadership that looks and sounds the same cycle after cycle. When new voices step forward, turnout grows, the tent expands, and trust is rebuilt. That is not symbolic. It is how we win. And it is not just about one election. It is about building durable power by making the strategic choice to invest early in first-time candidates with fresh ideas, deep community roots, and the courage to lead.”
Future Dems PAC’s first slate includes candidates running for State House, City Council, State Superintendent of Education, and US House. All ten are first-time contenders reflecting the PAC’s belief that leadership renewal is not symbolic, it is strategic.
The endorsed candidates are running for State House, City Council, State Superintendent of Education, and US House include:
- Arthur Harrington – Michigan State House District 9
- Emily Gonzales – California City Council, Oceanside District 2
- Sylvia Wright – South Carolina State Superintendent of Education
- Courtney McClain – South Carolina US House CD-4
- Dalourny Nemorin – New York US House CD-15
- Tyler Smith – Texas State House District 138
- Evan Hunt – Texas US House CD-3
- Robert Cooper II – Florida US House CD-6
- Mayra Rivera Vazquez – South Carolina US House CD-1
- Dr. Frederick Haynes – Texas US House CD-30
The slate reflects geographic breadth and generational depth. From Southern states like Texas and South Carolina to major urban centers in California and New York, Future Dems PAC is investing in places where long-term party growth depends on cultivating new leadership pipelines and strengthening Democratic infrastructure across states.
In this cycle, Future Dems PAC is moving early and backing its endorsed candidates with direct financial contributions and strategic support to help first-time leaders compete in challenging environments. Early investment allows new candidates to build name recognition, mobilize supporters, and enter competitive races from a position of credibility and strength.
Powered by thousands of grassroots donors across the country, Future Dems PAC reflects a base of Democratic voters who believe the party must evolve to meet this moment.
